Art I Coke Can Counter Drawings

Art I students have been working on their contour drawing skills through a project called, Coke Can Contour Drawing. In this project the student draws a whole Coke can, crushed Coke can, and finally an abstract pattern drawing made from tracing a small section of one of the Coke can drawings. These are photos of their progress so far. 

Art IV AP Portfolio 2D Design

Art IV students are busy working on two-dimensional pieces that will go in the breadth section of their AP Portfolios. 

Art II Place

Art III students recently watched the PBS documentary Art21. The first season, episode 1 covers the topic of "place." Each student discussed their ideas of place in art along with their newfound perceptions after watching the video.
