Art II Animal Drawings
Art II students explored drawing animals today. Each student is drawing their pet and creating a mixed media artwork with the drawings by using a variety of art media to overlay symbolic objects that represent their pets.

Art I Negative Shape Drawings
Art I students learned to draw the negative shapes in a still-life of stools today. This exercise helped them to become more aware of the empty space in and around the objects they draw in still-life set-ups. It was very difficult for them to understand at first, but as they worked more into the project, many of them began to understand the concept.
