Studio 2D One-Point Perspective
As part of our drawing unit, Studio 2D completed a small one-point perspective drawing as a review of their linear perspective skills. These are images of the students hard at work. Check back later for images of the finished drawings!
Art I Self-Portraits
During our study of value, the Art I students created "black and white" self-portraits. These students did an awesome job during this project! See the photos below of the beginning stages of their work. I will post some pictures of the final products at later date. Keep checking back for this update!

Week Two Progress
Last week, I told you we made hardbound sketchbooks in our Studio 2D class. I promised some pictures of these awesome books in their finished state. So, here they are...enjoy!
I loved making these little sketchbooks with the students, and I think many of them enjoyed making them!
We moved onto adding value to a still-life drawing in both Studio 2D and Adv. Art. Here are the pictures of the students working on these:
These are Studio 2D's still-lives:
This week Art I started their exploration of the three types of lines used in drawing. We started off with a study of contour lines through a project called Coke Can Contour Line Investigation. Here are the pics of their hard work!
