Art I explored color schemes this week through painting in the style of Pop-Artist Andy Warhol. Here is some of their progress:

Value Stil-Life Study

Art I students began exploring value in artworks recently. These still-life drawings were their first attempts at adding value to contour drawings. I think they did a great job!

Figure Drawing

Today, Studio 2D learned how to gesture draw in order to create full figure drawings. We had four students from the Theater I class come over and model for us. Before they left they created one of their pantomime poses for us to take a picture of for drawing. Here is the picture that Studio 2D is creating:
